Cartoon

You're a cartoon
he said

and just like that I was
dead

Cartoons
he said
we all are

Just scripts
code
snippets
pictures
memories of

Caricatures
he said
We who live in houses
made of skeleton bones
paste over our real skin
with misery's breath

You're a cartoon
he said

and
just like that
I was
dead.

  1. What a nice emotional sad poem. One of the most heart breaking moments of your life turns into a poem. Beautiful sadness.

  2. This is so sad. I can relate how to be a cartoon and how I am become only a memory,

  3. This breaks my heart. how sad to be in this life full of scripts and how every person turns to be a memory by another person.

  5. This poem is so sad. It makes me think of wanting something that you can't have and others thinking of you in a different light then you think of yourself.

  6. "snippets pictures memories" indeed. Sometimes I feel like going back in time and be able to touch the person I lost but all I have now is pictures and memories.
